These were both taken at the top of a millitry base. They let the public come to this park.
In the second picture, you can see the lakes and even the air port!
Click the pictures for a larger view.
This is where we went rock climbing. The rocks were very slippery and dangerous.
This is the Taipe airport.
Another photo from our hike. The water falls were very nice.
This is the interior landing strip I went to. As you can see, it slopes up quite dramaticly.
Inside of KODIAK see description in previous post.

Flying over Papua. The fires you see are from people burning trash. As a result, it’s very smokey there.
Kids at our VBS. We are doing a water balloon toss.
Craft time!
Learning our memory verses.
More pictures to follow!

Here are some more pictures,enjoy!
View over Sentani
In this picture, you can see the Sentani Lake.
To the right, the airport is also visible.
When we went to the beach, we saw this jelly fish.
Dick scooped it up, and I took this picture.
We were able to touch the top, so Finding Nemo wasn’t lying.
This is the sign at Sekola Papua Harapan School.
We went there to help with various work, while the teachers on our team did there teaching buisiness.
The Sekola Papua Harapan Campus is actually a converted military base. Most of the class rooms are old barracks. As you can see, water ditches run through the entire school. Because it was government built, it’s nicer than most of the buildings in Sentani.
More pictures to come!

At last, what you’ve all been waiting for… Pictures!
I will post more soon, so check back!
EVA Air
This is one of the planes we took to and from Indonesia.
It’s a Boeing 747-400.
Flying over Jakarta.
View from the School.
Robert at the Falls
We went on a hike to the falls and Robert was crazy enough to jump in!
The MAF Kodiak Plane
We went on seperate plane trips to the interior villages.
This is the plane I was on. It’s a Quest Kodiak and the newest plane MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) Indonesia has aquired.
the landing strip in the village was at a large angle, but the pilot landed that plane perfectly! The Kodiak has a very low stall speed, and was custom built for this kind of strip.
The Kodiak has a state of the art navigation system with glass panels. The panels display everything from altitude to well, everything else!
Very cool.
I’ll upload more pictures, so check back soon!

We have all safely arrived at home!
The Indonesia Outreach was a huge success, thanks to your prayers and support!
I will post pictures as soon as I can, we saw some pretty cool stuff there.
The flight back was very long. However, the in-flight entertainment was very nice.
I watched: How to Train Your Dragon, A Cheesy Korean Movie (No that wasn’t its real name), Batman Begins, Iron Man 1, and 2, and Kick A*s (Censored for our more sensitive readers).
TV shows included: Dexter’s Laboratory, Spongebob, Justice Friends, Some Weird British Show (See comment above), and something else I forgot.
And that was only a fraction of the trip back!
Thank you again for all your prayers and support, we couldn’t have done it without you!
Sincerely,
Harrison Faux
P.S. It’s not over yet! I’ll still post more details, so check back soon!
